Our Difference

  1. Aneka Interiors, an interior design company, built a quality and service reputation since 1999 because of its designer’s creativity, listening to clients, extraordinary attention to detail, effective project management, and translating all of these characteristics into effective design and project documentation. With an impressive selection of qualified Northern Colorado and Denver interior designers to choose from, Aneka Interiors has a unique ability to work successfully with contractors, sub-contractors and vendors to implement the client’s desires. A detailed project notebook is prepared for each job serving as a ready job site reference by any member of any trade construction crew which prevents project mistakes and saves construction time enabling accurate construction in the absence of immediate supervision.
  2. Aneka Kerlin the Company Owner has several important professional distinctions.
    1. First, she is a member of the American Society of Interior Designers.
    2. Second she studied for and successfully passed the rigorous examination. What is the NCIDQ? The National Council for Interior Design Qualification, a non-profit organization, has served since 1974 to designate, through administration of a comprehensive examination, individuals competent to practice interior design in the United States and Canada. It is the only body within the interior design profession with comprehensive standards for interior design professionals to protect the public health, life safety and welfare. NCIDQ is much more than a competency examination. In today’s increasingly competitive marketplace, an NCIDQ Certificate demonstrates a designer is uniquely qualified through education, experience and proficiency examination to competently practice interior design. NCIDQ is not a membership organization and “NCIDQ” is not used as an appellation. Rather, it is a design practice credential. NCIDQ Certificate holders are interior designers who have demonstrated professional competence by passing a comprehensive examination. Aneka Kerlin’s NCIDQ Certificate No. is 022037.
  3. The interior designers at Aneka Interiors graduated from a 4-year certified interior design program including training in architecture, facility management, space planning, interior fixtures, furniture, equipment specifications and finishes (FF&E), furniture and textile history, custom millwork, furniture, product, lighting and textile design, cost estimation, field verification and surveys, project administration, programming, coordination, business ethics and standards and ADA compliance, in conjunction with the ability to draft, execute floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations, perspectives by hand or digital CAD for formal presentation. How can you check out a designer’s standing or ethical practices? We suggest you call the ASID to verify membership. Less than half of all U.S. designers are members of the association — so check your designer’s references carefully.
  4. The interior Designers at Aneka Interiors are proficient in AutoCad (computer-aided design.) This skill enables our Designers to provide detailed drawings and elevations that represent a realistic image of the finished product. The advantages of computer-aided design include easier communication and better understanding of a client’s needs, giving the ability to make rapid changes and corrections in the plan.
