2024 has been a year of incredible milestones and exciting opportunities for Aneka Interiors. From celebrating a major anniversary to landing some great projects and forming new partnerships, this year has been a testament to our team’s dedication, creativity, and commitment to excellence. We are proud to share the highlights of a year that has truly set the stage for even greater things in the coming years.
In January, we celebrated a remarkable achievement—Aneka Interiors turned 25 years old! This milestone represents a quarter-century of transforming spaces, creating beautiful environments, and forging lasting relationships with clients, partners, and the communities we serve. Reflecting on the past 25 years, we’re humbled by the incredible journey that has brought us to this point, and we’re excited for what the future holds.
“Take Flight: A Year of Reaching New Heights”
Our yearly motto, “Take Flight,” was the perfect theme for 2024, and we kicked it off with some major wins that proved we’re soaring to new heights.
A New Multifamily Project with Ryan Companies
We began the year with an exciting new multifamily project with Ryan Companies, located near the airport at 56th and Tower. This project represents a great opportunity to work with a respected developer and is a significant addition to our portfolio.
Morningstar of Applewood
Another exciting win came with the Morningstar of Applewood renovation project. This large-scale transformation has been an incredible success, garnering positive feedback from residents, owners, and staff alike. We take great pride in knowing that our design work has had such a lasting, positive impact on this community.
MorningStar at the Canyons, Las Vegas
In July, we completed MorningStar at the Canyons in Las Vegas, Nevada, our largest project to date. This exceptional project was a resounding success, with the team attending the grand opening event in September. We were recognized for the excellent design, as well as for the success of the project in terms of lease-up rates and resident move-ins, which exceeded the original operational goals. It was a proud moment for Aneka Interiors, and we are thrilled to see the positive impact the project is already having on the local community.
Ongoing Success with MBK
Our long-standing partnership with MBK continues to thrive, as we have been entrusted with additional renovation projects in Northern California. After the success of our previous projects, we’re excited to continue our work with MBK, knowing that our design expertise has played a key role in helping their communities achieve higher census rates and greater success.
Someren Glen Christian Living Communities Renovation
The Someren Glen Christian Living Communities renovation wrapped up in Q4 2024 after a multi-year transformation. This large, four-story renovation in Centennial, Colorado, has been a significant undertaking, and we are thrilled to put the finishing touches on the project. It’s been an honor to work with Christian Living Communities to bring new life to this space, ensuring it continues to serve its residents with excellence.
Myron Stratton Home, Colorado Springs
Our project with Myron Stratton Home in Colorado Springs broke ground in spring 2024. This beautiful new development is set to be completed in spring 2025, and we are excited to see it come to life as an essential part of the community. The project has been a fantastic collaboration, and we look forward to the finishing touches in the coming months.
Pasadena, IL New Construction
After much anticipation, the Pasadena, IL new construction project finally broke ground in fall 2024. This five-story building will be an exciting addition to our portfolio of new construction projects and complements the renovation project we completed in 2023. We are thrilled to see this project progress and can’t wait to see it add value to the community.
MorningStar of Leawood
Throughout most of 2024, we’ve been hard at work on the design for MorningStar of Leawood, an exciting new construction Senior Living community in Leawood, Kansas, featuring Assisted Living and Memory Care. Although the project has been slow to break ground, we’re thrilled to see it progress and are optimistic that construction will begin sometime in 2025. This project represents another step forward in creating thoughtful and innovative spaces for senior living.
Expanding Our Client Portfolio and Business Development
This year, we’ve also focused on expanding our network of clients and strengthening our brand visibility.
New Partnerships and Clients
We’re excited to share that we’ve added Cogir to our growing list of owner/operators. Their trust in our design expertise has already led to successful projects, and we’re looking forward to building a long and fruitful partnership.
This year also brought new collaborations we’re proud of, including KEPHART, an architecture firm we’ve greatly enjoyed working with on the 56th and Tower project and the Myron Stratton Home. Their partnership has been instrumental in bringing our shared vision to life, and we’re eager to explore more opportunities to work together in the future.
Business Development
Despite a soft economy, our Business Development (BD) team has been hard at work increasing Aneka Interiors’ visibility in the industry. We’ve attended several key conferences and have been in contact with senior living publications to begin writing feature articles that will highlight our work and expertise. It’s been a busy year for BD, and we’re excited to see these efforts bear fruit in the coming months.
Looking Ahead: A Bright Future in 2025
As we look toward 2025, we’re filled with anticipation for the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead. Despite a soft economy, we remain optimistic about the future and are excited about what we have in store:
