Brooke Stevens Interior Designer

Born and raised in Colorado, Brooke wanted to experience life on the east coast and started her higher education at University of New Hampshire, focused on Human Development and Family Studies. She went on to transfer to CSU and ultimately graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Family and Consumer Sciences. After her university experience, Brooke discovered her true passion lies in Interior Design, and earned her master’s certificate from Heritage School of Interior Design in Denver. As a newcomer to the interior design scene, Brooke has loved learning something new every day, and gaining practical knowledge and experience.

As a world class rock climber, Brooke spends her free time focused on extreme mountaineering in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. Just kidding... she’s outdoorsy in that she likes long walks on the beach with a margarita in hand. As a self-proclaimed “city girl” Brooke loves exploring the many eclectic neighborhoods and rooftop patios that Denver has to offer, but has been known to be persuaded to go white-water rafting and zip-lining through the woods as long as she can spend more time with friends and family.

Tricia Guy Business Development Specialist & Senior Designer

As the youngest of four girls, Tricia quickly became her father’s resident assistant on all home projects.  Inspired by the endless creative capabilities in each project, Tricia knew design and construction was where she wanted to dedicate her career.  After graduating with her bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from The Illinois Institute of Art, Tricia has gained experience from a wide range within the design field:  from high-end residential to commercial interiors.  Working within the Senior Living design market established an instant connection with Tricia and has since been her focus for the past 10 years. Tricia’s positive outlook, passion for architectural design, and dedication to collaboration has created lasting relationships with industry partners looking to design and experience a unique blend of hospitality driven design with an emphasis of resident comfort.

Since relocating to Denver in 2018 from Wisconsin, Tricia enjoys experiencing everything Colorado has to offer.  When she’s not in the mountains enjoying a hike with her significant other Eric and their fur-son Renzo, you can find her teaching her other passion, Pilates, to friends and family alike.

Clermont Park Bistro Renovation

Clermont Park Bistro Renovation

Before and After photos of Clermont Park’s Lobby and Marketplace Renovations.

Clermont Park is tucked away in a well-established residential neighborhood just outside Denver, CO with large trees, lush gardens, and lawns. Thus, the inspiration to transform the former Marketplace to better leverage the beautiful outdoor patio, quaint pond, and walking path creating a serene and much-loved aspect of the community.

The Marketplace is the “community hub,” providing dining and social options uniting all community neighborhoods. Owned and operated by Christian Living Communities, we partnered  with architect Lantz Boggio,  and general contractor Pinkard Construction, to update and reposition the dining space to better serve residents and team members with an improved connection between indoors and outdoors, increased natural ventilation, and improved safety and functionality features.

Reception and Lobby

Inspired by the state’s slogan “Colorful Colorado”, the design focuses on providing a bright and tranquil place that promotes community engagement and connection with nature. The modern design reimagines the sense of space, with increased flexibility that feels both wide-open as the Colorado sky, but as intimate as gathering around a campfire.  Utilizing rich colors and textures, the design brings a sense of warmth the community is known for but doing so in a fresh color pallet and new integrated technologies.

Fireside Lounge

There is a real sense of community ownership for The Pines Café and Lounge as residents and team members were integral voices within the redevelopment plan, voting on design elements, participating in discussion circles, and offering meaningful input on everything from chair selections to artwork.

Enclosing the Fireside lounge with richly stained decorative screen walls and modern pane glass windows has created an intimate venue for residents, visitors and staff alike to relax by the newly refurbished fireplace.

Bistro and Marketplace

The renovation has resulted in  a fast-casual, meets high-end dining experience with increased variety and choice in dining options. The updated kitchen is better equipped to produce delicious meal options with modern technologies to increase safety and wellness. The bright, airy venue with its increased natural ventilation and direct connection to the outdoors has inspired more people to dine in the once under-used space.

Specific design features include an accordion-style NanaWall that fully retracts to offer an “al fresco” dining experience, heated grab-and-go casework, and a professional grade espresso machine providing a wider range of specialty options and flexibility for residents. Additionally, a reconfigured bistro kitchen outfitted with Kaliber (induction, and ventless cooking equipment), creates a more open and seamless bistro experience while expanding culinary options.

Private Dining

Reimagining this dark and dingy corner of the bistro into a Private Dining space has revitalized the space and created a new venue for various activities and functions. Whether it’s breakfast club, or wine tasting, this private dining space complete with modern, sliding barn doors and sheer curtains, provides an intimate setting for residents and visitors to enjoy an elevated experience.

A huge thank you and congratulations to our Partners CLC, Lantz-Boggio and Pinkard Construction for earning Second Place on this project for Senior Housing New Awards 2022. See the award winning project on their website here.
