Ten years. A whole decade. In today’s world of quick scrolls, short attention spans, and constant job-hopping, hitting the 10-year mark at one company is no small feat- especially as a millennial. But our very own Mackenna Johnson has done just that, and we couldn’t let this milestone pass without a little celebration (okay, a BIG one).
Mackenna joined Aneka Interiors in 2015, fresh out of CSU with a degree in Interior Design and a whole lot of energy. Aneka knew from the very first interview: this one’s special. And she was right. From day one, Mackenna brought her sharp design eye, “let’s-make-it-happen” attitude, and a personality that can light up any room (or install crew).
Over the years, Mackenna has touched countless projects and left her creative mark across the country. Some highlights include:

And let’s not forget the many, many installs she has led- always the one rolling up her sleeves, rallying the crew, and getting it done with her signature can-do spirit.
Beyond the project sites, Mackenna has logged serious miles at High Point Market, Las Vegas Market, the Chicago trade show, and represented Aneka Interiors with creativity, style, and humor.
What makes Mackenna truly special isn’t her design talent- it’s her wit, her positivity, and her ability to make every moment (yes, even the stressful install days) a little lighter. She has a rare mix of being both a creative designer and the life of the party. It’s this balance that has shaped her role as a leader on our team and made her such an essential part of our Aneka Interiors family.
We believe people stay where they feel valued, inspired, and connected. Mackenna is the perfect example of that. For ten years, she’s brought her whole self- creative, witty, hard-working, adventurous- to Aneka Interiors, and in return, we’ve built not just projects, but memories together.
