I don’t know if it’s the summer weather we’ve been having here in Colorado that is beckoning us outdoors into lively parks and lush botanic gardens pulsing with life and color, or if it’s a reaction to the farmhouse white that’s been so hot in the design world right now, but we are DYING to use some vibrant green colors in whatever project we embark on next.
According to color theory, Green symbolizes growth, harmony, freshness and energy. It’s a color that evokes a sense of tranquility due to its usual occurrence in nature, yet feels uplifting and energetic. We love the richness and depth of the color green, and its applicability in almost every room in your house. Whether its adding more actual greenery through plant life, or adding a fresh coat of paint on an accent wall, or even more boldly- your kitchen cabinets, it’s easy to add this exciting and underused color to your different spaces.
